FYI: BMW FEM/BDC Coding/Programming with VVDI2 full kit 4.3.0 .vvdi2-bmw-fem-programming-2

step 1:

read FEM/BDC coding via OBDII or on the bench
you’d better not close this window after starting this procedure
step 2:

open FEM/BDC shell, find out where the 95128/95256 chip is, read EEPROM dump via BDM programmer
load original EEPROM dump and save special EEPROM dump, write special EEPROM dump back to the 95128/95256 chip
restore FEM/BDC shell, provide -12v and connect it via OBD
step 3:

this operation requires connecting FEM/BDC on the bench, and make sure you finish step 1 ans step 2
provide +12v to FEM.BDC and connect it via OBD
step 4:

open FEM/BDC shell, write original EEPROM dump (read step 2) back to the 95128/95256 chip
restore FEM/BDC shell and connect it via OBD
step 5:

loading coding file (read step 1), write to FEM/BDC via OBDII, finish FEM/BDC programming

Attention please!!!

– You can directly backup/restore coding

– You have to pre-setup the FEM/BDC module before deleting/adding keys or resetting keys

– You’ll be told other tools need to be used first to program the FEM/BDC system, then setup FEM/BDC via VVDI2. It happens when you do FEM/BDC key learning, and you don’t have a working software version

– You’d better not close the VVDI2 interface when you pre-setup FEM/BDC

– You need do with 95128(FEM) or 95256(BDC) chip when pre-setup FEM/BDC

Note: there are two 8-pin chips; do not disassemble the wrong chip; better refer to the wiring diagram

– You must restore original EEPROM data, restore coding when pre-setup FEM/BDC. If you fail to restore coding or the remote cannot start or something wrong with the window (or other failures probably) after coding restore and FEM/BDC installation, please use other tools to do re-coding FEM/BDC

– Ask tech support @eobdtool.fr for help, if the replay sounds continuously after supplying power to the FEM/BDC. Usually, it needs programming.

(Solved) R270 Programmer: Unknown Device


i was programming an VitoEZS with my R270 programmer but blocked.

disconnected interface from PC and didn’t recognize it anymore.

USB\VID_0000&PID_0000\5&B9FD9BE&0&2 and unknown device.
when plug to 12v sound on “beep,..beep … beep,beep”

Here is the solution worked.

You can program VID / PID with FT_Prog.
Firstly you must uninstall ftdi driver,

use UD Fixer and “make” driver for VID_0000&PID_0000 ,

open FT_Prog and restore VID & PID values,

install proper driver

If you have a master version you can work directly on the program you have write on the vehicle (tuning, egr off, ….) and rewrite after directly.

If you are a slave version (who depend of a master (who do modificated), you read the program (crypted by genius), you send it to the master, he do what you what (money paid) and he re-sent to you to write in the ecu machine.It is expensive for the slave version user who depend of a master.

Kess v2 slave into master:

clone kess v2 floods the market is why there is lots of genuine kess slave for sale, plus most slaves cannot do boot mode

the advantages of using original kess v2 and converting it is that you have genuine original kess hardware, so the chances of hardware failure is smaller

if you can fit genuine nxp chip then great, otherwise you will converting to Chinese NXP with the Chinese firmware


advantages are that converted unit does boot mode, and in some cases have more protocols, you already said yourself you want more freedom, and likely better tuning files!

If you’re not equipped with rich tech knowledge & experience, forget it and escape from risk. Just buy a kess v2 china clone master version:

How to fix CarProg Antenna

About Carprog Antenna Fix:


replaced 150k with 15k (resistor)
2+3+4 here we need to solder a capacitor with aproximately 6-7 nF(put one or combine from 2-3 capacitors)

removed 100 nF capacitor
removed 100 pF capacitor
in position 2 it was a 2.8nF capacitor

in pos 3 it was 0.5 nF cap

in pos 4 it was 100 nF cap

SKP1000 Program Nissan Qashqai 2016 Smart Card without BCM code

Nissan Qashqai 2016 smart card key programming is the same as new X-tail. Both has 20-digit BCM code. Original Nissan Qashqai key use special 2-button 315MHz no chip smart key. SKP1000 key programmer will program smart card for this model without BCM code.

Connect SKP-1000 key programmer with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->Nissan->2013-Nissan X-tail smart card (Auto read BCM code)


Select OBDII connector

Turn Ignition to ON position

Press YES to continue


Configuring the system….

Select Program Smart Card


Turn ignition OFF

Turn on emergency switch (Shown as picture below)

Remove all keys

Maximum 4 keys can be programmed

Press YES to continue

SKP1000 will read BCM code automatically, then start to program smart card. This will delete all smart card.



Press the vehicle engine Start button once

Attach the smart card to the Start button within 5 seconds

Dashboard turns on, immo indicator flashes for 5 times

Press YES to continue

Programming Ford electronic control units (ECUs) is pretty straightforward and simple compared to many other OEMs. However, Ford does do one thing differently than most other OEMs. The normal Ford programming procedure has you “inhale” (read and store) the As Built data from the old ECU to the scan tool so that these As Built vehicle specific production and calibration details can then be transferred to a new, remanufactured or salvaged ECU you are installing.

A complication arises when you are attempting to replace an ECU that is dead or not communicating with the scan tool or programming device. In this instance, you are going to have to use a different method of telling the replacement ECU what the needed As Built data information should be. The Ford recommended procedure for this is stated as:

“Programmable Module Installation (PMI) must be performed when replacing module. If the information cannot be inhaled from the original module, As-built data must be used to properly configure module”

This procedure requires purchasing a per use subscription for all ECUs, except the PCM, from the Ford Motorcraft website, http://www.motorcraftservice.com. Once purchased you use the vehicle identification number (VIN) to acquire the As Built data for the particular ECU you are replacing. This As Built data is actually multiple lines of hexadecimal numbers entered into dialogue boxes in the programming software. We will describe this process for Ford ECUs in next month’s column. For this months column we will describe a quicker method than acquiring the As Built hex info to install a replacement powertrain control module (PCM) in a Ford vehicle where the old PCM is damaged and not communicating. All we need do is tell a little white lie to the scan tool or programming device!

To accomplish this trick, connect your Ford diagnostic toolor Flash programming device to the diagnostic link connector (DLC). Leave the ignition key in the OFF position. While the key is off, attempt to connect with the vehicle using your tool’s software. The programming software will show a status bar for 45 seconds while it attempts communication with the vehicle. Of course, the communication attempt will fail because the key is off! It will then ask you to turn the key off and on again as it again attempts to communicate with the vehicle. After this process completes the software will ask you if you want to make another attempt. Choose no to this query.

You are then asked to choose from a list of vehicles to communicate with. Typically, your choice on this page will be “all other” shown on the top of the list as the rest of the list are non-domestic vehicle models


The software will explain that you must provide some numbers from the actual ID label on the old PCM in order for the software to identify the vehicle you intend to communicate with. Use the actual PCM’s label shown here if Figure 1 to gain the information you need. As you can see in screen shot shown in Figure 2, there are three sets of data fields you can use. You need only use one of these data fields to get the job done. I use the Tear Tag number because it is the easiest. In our example, we take the YPZ2 shown on the PCM label in figure 1 and type it into the Tear Tag data field as shown in Figure 2.


The next screen shown will ask you to enter the VIN and mileage. This VIN information is important if your state has an OBDII inspection program requiring a VIN read from the DLC for positive vehicle identification purposes so do not skip this step.

Once the vehicle is properly identified as shown in Figure 3, you can use the normal PCM replace and program procedure. You may be asked to provide a couple of other pieces of information like tire size or whether the vehicle has four-wheel drive or not.

Follow the tip to turn off ignition, press “Yes”

Follow the tip, insert the smart card into the slot, and you can hear alarm sound, turn off the ignition, press “Yes”.

Input the password
Check if the password is correct, press “Yes” to confirm.
The first smart card program successfully, and it will ask you if you program the next one, press “Yes” to confirm.
Insert the second smart card into the slot, you can hear the alarm sound, press “Yes”.
Program successfully, press “No” to back.

With two new smart card keys, you could start the car, if you need to add more keys, just repeat the above steps.

4. Firmware update
Before update firmware, please take out the TF card and insert it into the card reader, then plug into the computer USB port. Double click “My Computer”, find out ” local Disk (H:), right click to choose “Format”.


Tip: Tick on the “Quick format” and click “Start.
After complete format, go to the official site to download the update file, then copy and paste the file into the TF card, after finish, plug the TF card into the machine, power on the machine to the main interface.


Firstly choose “System firmware update”, press “Yes”, the procedure shown as below:


Update successfully shown as below.


Press “No” to back.


Choose ” Adapter firmware update”, after finish, reboot the machine to go on use SKP1000.
